Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio

Ana Kristina Gasteyer is an American actor, comedian and singer. Most notable is her time on NBC's sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live. Since then, Gasteyer has been a part of the ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was studying at Northwestern University when she began her career as an actor. Her first course was an audio-major and then switched to theater studies when she joined the university's Improv team. The same energy was carried throughout her other roles, such in the roles of Sheila Shay, the overly-controlling character from Suburgatory and Karen Grisham the eccentric agent on Lady Dynamite. She was the daughter of Nena de la Reguera was Miss Veracruz who became a journalist and television personality.
